Ten years after the battle on the reef, Neteyam and Aonung meet again. Now as leaders on a mission to sabotage the Sky People's underwater powerplant. When the attack doesn't go as planned, they become stranded in a foreign jungle, far from their families and everyday duties. Neteyam takes the opportunity to teach Aonung the way of the forest and finally tease him back so hard, Aonung can't help but fall for his forest boy all over again.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Aonung scowls at him, shuffling his feet at the edge of the branch.
"Yes, very much. Look, I think you're just not good at swinging the trees. Maybe you're good at diving, but..."
