Van is a sophomore in high school who still hasn't quite figured out who she wants to be yet. she's a talented goalie and spends most of her time following around after Nat. until Taissa shows up halfway through the year, and suddenly the only thing Van wants to do is make mixtapes about her and figure out what her favorite color is.
Van is a Sophomore in college, barely affording her rent in a town just barely far enough away from her hometown, and utterly heartbroken. she's resigned herself to her two therapist visits a week, the local nightclub scene, and countless movies from blockbuster. She just needs to figure out a way to stop sleeping with her ex.
(follows Van and tai before and after the wilderness and how they learn to love eachother for the 1st and 2nd time.

“Why not?” Tai asks, as though she doesn’t know. As though she doesn't absolutely agree.
There’s a long pause, and Tai can almost picture Van’s clenched jaw, her pinching the bridge of her nose.
“Because… you’re getting married, Tai.” Van takes a deep breath. “It was meant to be us.”
