Summary
Fate brought them together in King's Landing only to pull them apart during the Battle of the Blackwater. With Sandor on the Quiet Isle and Sansa in the Eyrie, they both begin to feel the fates accelerating them towards one another once again. Sandor takes his fate in his own hands and decides to leave the Quiet Isle in search of his Little Bird.
**Update (September 2020): This fic was the first fanfic I ever wrote, so it will always have a special place in my heart. As of now, I do not plan on finishing it. I'm happy with where it left off, but I will consider this a complete work. I won't leave the door entirely shut, but for now I will leave this as it is. Thank you to all who read this story and enjoyed it over the years!

She slapped at his chest. “I get everything I want, it’s true. Northern independence, my remaining brothers and sister alive and safe, and the man I love in my bed. Maybe the Gods blessed me after all.”

“Well, it was just a kiss,” Sansa sniffed. “Nothing too terribly inappropriate.”
Sandor snorted. “A sweet, chaste kiss like the songs then?”
“Yes. I suppose if it’s coming from my imagination it would only make sense that it would be like the songs.”
“Sansa,” he rasped, “I wouldn’t have given you a courtly kiss like your precious knights.”
“Oh, then how would you have kissed me?”
His arms came around her waist and he hauled her against him, dipped his head, his lips barely brushing against her.
“Like this,” he whispered against her mouth.
And then he kissed her.
