He tapped her shoulder and showed her a paper crane, made from the page she'd torn out of the magazine.
"Wow, impressive..."
After a moment, she held up her own attempt at a crane to show him, wrinkled and misshapen.
"...You suck."
"That's not very nice!"
"Sorry..."
Another moment passed as she worked again. "Here, see? I can do it if I try."
He nodded and smiled, them placed another crane, miniature in size, next to the one in her palm.
