Mirage has, apparently, impossibly, run afoul of such a situation... but that's not all what's going on. Perhaps the damsel in distress will have to do some rescuing of his own as well.

Look, I will read any and all Cliffjumper fic from this author. But this one is a folklore AU with world building about to explode! Even if you're not a fan of the character or CJ/Mirage pairing (prolly because you can't help but suck), I would still suggest reading this for the set up and references to Scandinavian troll stories merged with Transformers own growing canon mythology gods and monsters.
As minibots play the role of fae here, Mirage being the "human" pov, there are cameos of lesser known characters and toys. Exciting if you recognize the names and appearance, or enjoy looking up the references.
