Summary
Remus is on top of the world. He has everything he's ever wanted. Voldemort is gone, the war is over, and he is finally able to settle down with Sirius, his one and only love. But Remus's world is suddenly shattered when Sirius disappears one night and turns up only a few hours later with no memory of himself, or Remus, or anything at all.
Sirius has a lot of questions. Who is this strange man who suddenly appears in his life and seems like he would do anything for him despite the fact that they only just met in a dark alley a few days ago? Why does he have the exact same nightmare every night, a nightmare which plagues him even in wakefulness, about a wolf brutally attacking two people he feels almost certain he knows? And, above all else, why in Merlin's name can't he remember anything?
An AU that takes place a year after the second war in which Sirius and Remus never died but rather have lived together as a couple ever since Sirius got out of Azkaban and Bellatrix and Peter are still alive and at large.
