He swore the stars shone brighter in the sky that night as if his family and whole tapestried history were looking down at him smiling because despite it all he'd made it through and he knew for the first time in his whole life he didn’t have to be afraid of love and he no longer had to depend on his oldest of friends, for now, he had a star all his own and that came in the form of a Scottish man who just radiated light, no corner of his world would ever be lonely of light again.

Simon was always taught to forgo comforts from an early age, however no matter how many times the ‘lesson’ was beat into him he still always craved the softness of blankets or of his mother’s voice as she sang to him or to the fluffy ears of Mr. Hops. He always hoped he’d finally grew out of the need he felt for these things ,but with johnny the need and desire was always satisfied and he no longer felt the need to deny himself these things and johnny well he just encouraged it all

He always shed a few tears every time he left the grave knowing Simon wasn't going to get up and follow him up to the house and that he'd have to leave him alone once again for the night .but it would be ok he hoped because he would see him again in his dreams and that would have to be enough to warm his bed.

Summary
Years have passed since Price’s death. Simon, faced with the reality that entailed his honorable discharge, struggled alone with the ghosts of his failures that haunted him. He sequestered himself to a small house in Castleton. After long months of turbulent searching within himself for who he was, Johnny showed up on his doorstep with a duffel bag.
‘You’re out of your mind, LT,’ Soap said.
‘I might’ve lost it, Johnny,’ he replied.
