Summary
Lucas Konrad is a young man with paranormal abilities travelling through parallel realities, on the run from a fate he wants to avoid at all costs. He takes on a risky job to sneak into one of the most dangerous facilities in the Greenreach District of the Anthrostate in order to avoid that very fate. But when he runs afoul of a dogged Inspectorate Officer who tracks him down with predatory fervour, he ends up finding an unexpected path to his objective and a new future filled with excitement and terror. And quite possibly discovers a new danger, lurking in the background.
Alma Fairtail, an Inspectorate Officer from the Intelligence Bureau with a family name that can turn heads, is two weeks into her security run making sure all T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted for the fancy party going on on the 90th floor of Sable Biotech.
