Summary
Princess Kara had been home for a week and Queen Alexandra was grateful for every second they spent together. However, this did not stop the guilt which sat like a stone in her stomach and threatened to spew out of her whenever she laid eyes on Clark.
Alex had never lied to Kara. She would honestly swear that fact before any judge in the country. Was it really her fault that Kara had never asked, “Are you planning on forcing Clark into marriage with foreign nobility?”?
-----o0o-----
Modern royalty story: Kara is sick and the only way that Alex can save her is by arranging for Clark to marry Lady Lena. This might have worked if Clark was not already in love.

Parr had spent the last month of her life hosting mandatory training sessions for her family, complete with binding contracts and under-the-table negotiations. However, her family was not very good at following rules.
