Summary
Spencer meets someone new at a chess tournament in the park. Their friendship awkwardly escalates to become friends with benefits. Being someone with few romantic relationships, he accepts this relationship and treasures it with everything he has. Knowing his team, he keeps this relationship to himself until it ends badly. After not seeing each other for a while, and a gunshot wound to the leg, Spencer learns something he always wanted but didn't expect to have now.

Because his medical condition is sealed thanks to a law created for men like him, where a small population of males born have the ability to gestate, neither Hotch nor any of his superiors are notified when they find out about his condition.
Watching his back at work every day, struggling with the consequences of his headaches, hiding from his former lover, and, above all, dealing with a secret pregnancy, Spencer Reid deals with all of this while, surprise, surprise, his past infatuation with his boss grows stronger and stronger.

As the BAU team wrap-up a case, one deputy sheriff of the area does not hesitate to broadcast the casualties they suffered to apprehend the UnSub and unabashedly blames Spencer for not being the genius everyone speaks so highly of.
Once Hotch and Spencer are back home, Aaron does everything he can to reassure Spencer that he is more than just the insults from one man.
(It becomes pure self-indulgent romantic fluff towards the end. I'm not that heartless for an unhappy ending)
