Summary
He’d always loved the quiet of nighttime. When almost everything stopped spinning and all that was left was himself, the very few other people awake, and the sky. Sometimes, it had felt like he was the only person in existence and, for a brief moment, everything had felt small. Less important, and he could allow the pressure to lift from his shoulders for just a few hours.
(Tom can’t get to sleep, so he decides to look at the night sky and do some thinking)

You know, if Tom hadn’t known the two for however many years it’s been by now, he really would think that the two are dating. As it stands, he’s incredibly frustrated that they aren’t. He’s been in the middle of their tension too many times to count. He’s seen the loving gazes, the gentle touches — heard the utmost insistence that they’re both "straight as a ruler, Tom, you can really stop asking now."
He’s kind of sick of it, actually. The two need to get their shit together soon before Tom goes officially insane.
