My god what can I say. This fic is perfect from beginning to that beautiful end. That whole bathroom scene squeezed my heart so bad 😭 I think my absolutely favorite part of this is how bad they are at saying the perfect thing to each other, but that doesn’t matter. Like Steph said, they’re there for each other even if they’re both kinda bad at it. Also that ending???? It’s so sweet, these two make me understand the term tooth-rotting fluff. Beautiful stuff 🥹

Pete laughs.
It’s a quiet laugh. Of course it is, they’re in a library. But Pete lets out a sort of breathless chuckle, and Steph kinda wants to crawl under her chair because if that happens again there’s no way she’ll survive.
alternatively: Steph has a crush on Peter. And it starts when she’s six. Cue the only acceptable reaction- avoiding him like the plague.
