“Don't ever do that again.” Bam mumbles, but Khun can tell he knows it won't have much effect, knows Bam expects him to jump into danger to protect him anyway. Khun knows Bam would do it for him, as well. To say the though makes him feel uncomfortable is a little too absurd, especially coming from him, especially right now. Khun also knows Bam is probably going to be on high alert with him after the events of today.

He can’t tell if Bam is nervous or not. He knows he should do something, anything to comfort him. He takes another look at Bam’s face. He takes a look at Bam’s emotionless face, his empty eyes. And he thinks, maybe he isn’t nervous. He isn’t nervous at all because the tower has taken way too much from him. Aguero hates it. He hates the tower, he hates everything that has ever brought them to this point, brought Bam to this point.

Everytime he felt hurt, despondent, miserable, anything really, he’d spend hours in the water. He loved the fulfilment he got by simply just being there. When he was in the water, it was as if nothing mattered. As if he could swim forever, dive forever, be underwater forever. There is something about the motion of it that becomes natural after a while. He’ll always need the air and the sunlight, to feel the saline water wash over his skin and through his eye lashes. But in the water, he was free.
