It might be wrong for her to be thinking of Rody, though, his sunny smile and sheepish rub of his neck as he presented her with a single red rose, the man himself looking thoroughly battered and splashed with puddle water despite the flower being unblemished, like he had done everything he could to keep it safe. It might be wrong for her to be thinking of that, considering she’s walking to Vince’s apartment right now.
