Ghost’s eyes nearly popped out of his skull. “Know my rank, Mactavish.”
Without dropping the act, Soap cooed, “Please, drill sergeant. Don't make me run any more laps. I’m tired. I’ll do anything.” He leaned in extra close and his voice got more breathy by the end of his sentence.
Simon stayed quiet, processing the situation. Soap continued.
“Please, sir. My legs burn. Please go easy on me, drill sergeant.”
“Jesus Christ.” Ghost muttered.
