Summary
Han’s doing that thing where, despite acting like he’s not actually worried, keeps jerking in Leia’s direction when she so much as looks like she’s going to trip and hovering protectively if there’s someone in the room that isn’t him or Luke.
It turns into an argument when C3-PO almost runs into her and Han basically explodes and Leia explodes right back and Luke is sitting on the couch with his head in his hands trying to understand the significance of baby bumps and why there would be bumps on a baby. Then comes the subsequent realization that he doesn’t actually know anything about children.
(Or, Leia, Han, and Luke using their four collective brain cells to try and keep a child alive, among other things.)

Summary
When Leia is offered the chance to meet her mother’s family, there is no moment of hesitation before she takes it. Padmé Amidala is the face that Leia cannot shake off, whether in her memories or in the mirror. Always there, always watching. Leia craves her, wears her dresses, has silently adored the woman all her life. For her to have been her mother, for Leia to have some family still with the Naberries, it is a dream come true.
However, with every day spent in the lake house, a darkness comes to haunts Leia. A sense of melancholic memory that she cannot shake whenever she faces Luke. Even her dreams turn cruel, offer her the embrace the mother she can never have.
And, eventually, Leia’s world falls apart.
They wear borrowed faces, walk down paths long stepped down by another set of foots, and yet, they are expected not to follow the fate prewritten for their faces. Truly, it was only cruel of the Universe to make them look so much like their parents and not expect history to repeat itself.
