“D-Danny’s house! Danny Fenton… We have a Biology project together.. I got caught up working on it so that's what I have been.. Doing….” She spun around to try and catch Phantom and question how he knew who Danny was, but she wasn’t able to catch anything because just like earlier, he was gone. She scowled into the night air, fist clenching and unclenching rapidly.
Floating invisible a few feet away from Valerie, Danny smiled to himself for being able to help her with her problem before the reality of the situation sank in. He nearly hit himself for how stupid he was for suggesting himself. She didn’t know that Danny is Phantom, and that could seriously blow his cover.

“No no!!” Mk quickly shook his hands. “I was gonna tell you! I was just.. Nervous.. You um..” His hand then went to scratch the back of his neck as he refused to meet the Monkey King's eyes. “I was afraid you would be unhappy with who I was.. with.” Though, he wasn’t planning on telling him anytime soon. But Mk would never admit that.
Sun Wukong scoffed loudly. “Why on earth would I be unhappy? I trust your judgment!”

The grief seemed to have mellowed Daniel out dramatically. Vlad had been expecting a quite violent reaction when he’d exercised his right as godfather to take the teenager in as his own, but there had been barely any response to the news.
It’s a good thing, Vlad thought to himself, that he is so reserved right now. The less spirited he is, the less he fights. He’d been repeating it to himself several times every day, but it didn’t stop him from feeling slightly more shattered with each blank stare and placid agreement Daniel gave him.
