Summary
The curtains have long since fallen and the once lively actors on stage have all gone away save for one lonely girl. On the edge of the stage, Marry Kozakura sits alone as the last living member of the Blindfold Gang.
Centuries have passed since those eventful summer days, and the world has changed considerably. A world scarred by war and greed; a world where the flesh has given way to metal and software. This is not the fantasy Marry dreamed of in that tiny cottage. This is not the world here friends showed her nor is it the future she envisioned. Just reality. Stricken with grief and haunted by her past, Marry struggles with her wish to reunite with her loved ones and start it all over again or to keep with her promise, trudging in place to see this one true future through even if she must ignore her root issues.
