Not too far off from them, there are two persons lying in that clearing—shinobi, Kakashi infers, from their attire and weaponry.
Both are unconscious.
One of them has a head of tangled silver hair, and is uniformed in the standard issue military-green Jonin vest, dyed red with his blood. A large X-shaped wound is engraved onto his chest, spilling viscera and warm blood. He is masked like Kakashi, and his limp incapacitated form is sprawled face-first on the soil.
To his left, the other man has hair dark as crow feathers and is garbed in magenta robes; a striking set of scars ripple across the right half of his face.
OR
Midway through their duel, Kakashi and Obito get transported back in time to meet their younger selves.

Summary
Team minato time travels to the future due to mission gone wrong. They end up in post-war konoha where kakashi is hokage and apparently Obito is his advisor...and also husband? Huh?
Shennanigans ensue. mini Obito and mini kakashi are mortified and confused while their future baby is overly happy to see them.
Rin is ships the ship and minato is just happy and kakashi finally had a family in the future although he's concerned about the lack of uchiha's and lack of himself in the future. Where is he? Where is Kushina? And omg I have a son?! Wow he has kushina's eyes. Sho pretty. But he'll think about that later. Yup. Later.
Kakashi trolls with everyone and gives everyone heart attacks after heart attacks.

OR: Obito returns to Konoha, but Rin still dies. Kakashi still joins ANBU. Neither of them are in control of their circumstances. Things unfurl from there.
