Summary
Mike lifts one of Will’s fingernails and uses it to cut through his palm. Will stiffens as the blood wells up, and when Mike lifts his palm closer to Will’s face, he guides it with his own hand instead of refusing it. Mike will take anything he can get. Will licks the blood off, sucks it from the cut when it’s clean, starts to open the wound with his teeth when that isn’t enough. Mike shivers when his tongue catches on the edge of his cut, and then hisses in pain when the points of his lower canines follow it, and Will jerks back as though burned.
Or, post-possession, Will is back to himself, minus the fact that he drinks blood. The party, and Mike in particular, adjust. It turns out having your best friend become a vampire doesn't help much with getting over your crush on him.
