Harry wanted to throw up. Or possibly kill himself. Because if he was here, in Italy, waking up to Voldemort by his bedside, he was most certainly kidnapped. Oh gods– Harry had been plucked right out of Hogwarts, and here he was, for Voldemort to torture and kill.
This was his end.
“No Harry,” The older man– no Voldemort – “This is just the beginning.”

It's been five months since the defeat of Voldemort and Harry, Ron and Hermione are ready to call it quits. They've been to many burials, people are asking whether or not they'll return for the extra eighth year program and pesky reporters keep thrusting spokesquills into their faces, demanding comments.
So when an opportunity arises for the three of them to participate in the new exchange program between Hogwarts and Amomaitan, a wizarding school in Nigeria, they immediately leap at the chance.
But things don't go as smoothly as they think it will. Ginny, Neville and Luna are also coming along for one thing. And darkness lurks even this far from Britain. Amomaitan has its own ancient, terrible secrets and there will be worse than culture shock and ravenous vampires with iron teeth and claws to deal with before the Golden Trio can find their happily ever after.
