“Is that right?” Nenji asks the goat, who licks at his finger. “Well uh, good job, ladies.”
Tomi tsks, “Gee, thanks.” But she’s still smiling watching him and the goat together. “At least you two are getting along,” and she starts baby-talking to the goat, “Aren’t you, Nenji Jr.?”
Nenji freezes. “What did you say?” he asks flatly.
