    Aki obeyed, already bracing himself. He had never tasted Angel's cooking. He didn't even know he could cook. And once the spoon touched his tongue, he wished briefly that his fever had burned away his sense of taste. The soup was… awful. Too salty. The carrot was still hard.

    “How is it?” Angel whispered.
