Her friend, Emiya Shirou, was bleeding while walking through the street leading to his house. She helps her friend home only to be dragged into the Fifth Grail War along with her friend.

Summary
Hakuno has never had many restful nights since leaving the Moon Cell; keeping a clear distinction between her own dreams and reality was something she struggled with enough as is, but lately it was taking a turn for the worse. Something dark and pervasive lingered in the deepest corners of her mind, so overpowering she couldn't even find a measure of ease in her Servant's arms. Her vague memories of a distant life she left behind were threatening to come back for her and swallow her whole.
After leaving the Moon Cell, Hakuno and Gilgamesh try to look for a new beginning, leaving unsavory memories of war and past mistrust behind. However, as yet another war rears its ugly head once again, they soon find themselves over their heads as they discover some things are meant to remain locked up.
