Summary
Thanks to his best friend's insistence, Shadow assumed his senior year of high school would be one of the better years of his life. He was co-captain of the track team, his grades weren't any kind of problem, and he had the greatest group of friends he could ask for. Everything trails off course, though, when the boy he's in love with—his equally competitive, extremely overconfident friend Sonic—starts dating his childhood best friend, Amy. Now, Shadow has to ask himself a question he never bothered with before: is being friends enough, or are his feelings worth the possibility of ruining a years-long friendship?
A human high-school AU based LOOSELY (nobody dies) on the song "Ruin the Friendship" by Taylor Swift. AKA a lot of cutesy, self-indulgent nonsense I wrote for fun between projects :)
