    Not everybody needs a hero, but a hero needs everybody.

    If you asked most people, they would probably say Max Caulfield was just a normal girl. Quiet, a little awkward, someone who didn’t really stand out in a crowd. Someone ordinary.

    But they wouldn’t know her side of the story.
    Most people think they already know how it goes. With great power comes great responsibility. She saved people, saved cities, and then saved them again. And again. And again. Stopped the world from ending more times than anyone can really keep track of. She’s a comic book now. A TV show with a hella good theme song, a cereal box, merchandise, and a so-so popsicle.

    But after everything, nobody really knows how she became the one thing standing between this world and oblivion. How she keeps getting back up, no matter how hard she gets hit. How she keeps going when anyone else would’ve stopped a long time ago.

    There is only one Spider-Woman.

    And this is how her story starts.

    It starts like most stories worth telling do.
