Summary
When you made plans for your future they never involved being hired by a Mandalorian to baby-sit his adorable, green gremlin of a child. Summary
Cobb Vanth, the marshal of Mos Pelgo, had more or less settled himself into life in a small town on the edge of the known world. Nothing too exciting ever happened and Cobb spent more of his time herding stray chickens and running down lost mules than he did getting into gunfights or routing bandoleros, but for a man with a lifetime of hard living at his back, some peace and quiet was alright, even if Cobb had never liked chickens and would rather shoot a mule than chase one. Being the marshal wasn't too bad, and it wasn't too taking, neither.
That was, at least, until the Mandalorian rode into town.
(Or, a Wild West-flavored AU, because I think it might kill Timothy Olyphant that Cobb Vanth doesn't wear a hat.)

Summary
Boba Fett likes to be in control. Din Djarin feels more out of control with every passing day. Giving control over to Boba would make both of them happy. Din just doesn't understand why that has to be so complicated.
