Summary
Not for the first time, Daichi thanked the gods for Kenma Kozume. His boyfriend, and Kenma’s best friend, was never very forward with him about the stress said boyfriend was under while pursuing his Master’s degree; a fact that continued to irritate Daichi.
Thankfully, Kenma always made sure to text Daichi a heads up whenever Kuroo was having a particularly rough day.
Today, unfortunately, was one of those days and now it's up to Daichi to look after the wary man he loves.

Summary
After their run at Nationals, everyone was faced with the reality that there wasn’t going to be a ‘next year’ for this team in particular. Karasuno would continue on, but this exact makeup, this group of individuals wouldn't be the same. Four faces that had come to symbolize a steady foundation and constant support would be missing. Instead, new faces would be joining their club, entering their huddle before matches, and likely seeing them as the new pillars of Karasuno’s Volleyball Team.
In some ways, it was a terrifying reality, but it was also exciting.
However, before any of them had to accept their new circumstances, they could take a moment to simply enjoy each other's presence on their court one last time.

During a training camp, Kuroo is stumbles upon another captain in need.

Once again, the hallway illuminated as the windows reflected what looked like a particularly powerful bolt of lightning. The new light allowed Kuroo to see that two doors down, Karasuno’s classroom door was in fact cracked open. Meaning he wasn’t hallucinating or creating a false narrative in his head. This was real and there was someone behind that door. Before he could say anything else to confront said person, an angry bout of thunder managed to actually shake the school. A low whine and undeniable sniffling seeped past the wooden barrier separating Kuroo from the stranger, and served as enough of an anchor to regain the Captain’s focus and cause him an understandable level of concern.
“I’m coming in!” He declared.

Kuroo Tetsurou had a list of priorities: family, school, volleyball. There were other things that followed and at the exact bottom of that list was taking care of himself. His friends are less than amused with this and hatch a plan to force Kuroo into practicing self-care.
And if Kuroo falls in love with the handsome massage therapists along the way, well that is just a bonus!

Daichi and Suga had a simple love story and they were content to keep it that way. Moving to Tokyo and starting their lives together was about as adventurous as they wanted to be; unfortunately for them, the universe seemed to have other ideas. Tragic accident or not, Sawamura Daichi was suffering from a case of wrong place at the wrong time and now has to live with the consequences.

“Sugawara-sensei!You-you need to...to go to...the staff room,” she said between gulps of breath. “Emergency.”
“Emergency?” Koushi felt his heart rate starting to pick up speed. What kind of emergency could he be needed for in the faculty room? “What emergency?”
“There was...an explosion.” The woman’s blonde hair was dipping into her face, perfectly framing her shocked and downright terrified aqua eye. “It was at one of the sports complexes.”

As those deep eyes fell partway hooded, the taller man spoke. The move was bold, but Meian would do anything not to sound nervous. He was having easily the best date of his life, and it was like he had known Daichi forever. "Me, too. And by the way,” he smiled, lopsided and charming, “you should call me Shūgo."“Only if you call me Daichi.” The shorter brunette said; and without thinking and riding this wave of confidence that had just burst up, he slid his phone with a new contact open, awaiting the other man’s information. “Also, you can just call me.”
