The room was off-limits, but she sneaked in and found a portrait of a man with the initials “D.T.” in the bottom left corner. The room was filled with books, most of them written in Valyrian. She picked the most interesting-looking one and tried to read it—when suddenly, it transported her to another world. There, she came face to face with the man from the portrait. And oh boy, he was even more handsome up close, with striking violet eyes.

WHAT IF Daemon Targaryen has no plans of marrying, but he wants to have a child? He’s not getting any younger, so he looks for a surrogate, who happens to be Rhaenyra Arryn. This is Rhaenyra’s first time, but she really needs a large amount of money, and this pays a lot.
Daemon only intended to have one child, but along the way, he falls for Rhaenyra. Wanting to keep her close, he decides on another child through surrogacy, using the excuse that his children should have the same parents.

He didn’t speak just continued on his path to her. She quickly stood up and headed for the door but as quick as she reached it Daemon was right behind her
Snaking an arm around her waist and pulling her flush against him he spoke quietly her ear “Now that is certainly no way to greet your uncle.”

In the year 2 BC Aegon Targaryen left Dragonstone to conquered Westeros, alongside his sister-wives Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen and there dragons. By 1 AC the Seven Lords Paramount had bent the knee to Aegon and hailed him as there King.
Aegon began the construction and design of the Red Keep in King’s Landing that same year. Aegon constructed his own throne made out of the weapons of his defeated enemies and used his Dragon, Balerion, to meld them into a seat to be feared and desired by all across the Seven Kingdom. The Conqueror declared:
“Only a worthy ruler may sit upon the Iron Throne in comfort and all those unworthy shall die”

Summary
The Targaryen family, as the only living royals, are celebrities. Rhaenyra can't go out for dinner without paparazzi taking her picture, but she wants to know what life is like for regular people. So she dyes her hair, finds roommates, and gets a job.
The only problem is Daemon. She wants to spend time with him like she's always done, but he's too recognizable. Rhaenyra doesn't know if she'll be able to make it through the full year she had planned, or if she'll cave and go back home.
