Summary
For nearly two years, Zeus and Poseidon have made war, and the mortal world has paid for every wound to divine pride.
Percy Jackson has survived by disappearing. Alone beneath a hostile sky, he has spent the war outrunning monsters, gods and the life he left behind. His powers are growing. His body is failing. No one knows how little of him remains.
Artemis has withdrawn to the edges of Olympus, guarding her Hunt and the independence she has defended for millennia. She knows the gods rarely solve a crisis without deciding that someone else should bear its cost.
Then Hera and Athena uncover an ancient law capable of binding sky and sea to peace.
The fighting stops—but old laws do not wake cleanly, and peace carries consequences no prophecy has named. As oaths are sworn, forgotten powers stir and private choices begin to reshape fate, Percy and Artemis must navigate an Olympus determined to turn survival into duty.
The war is over.
The price of peace is only beginning.
