i think the worst thing about hating yourself is that you eventually learn how to make it normal.
you start to learn how to smile when someone looks at you. you learn how to laugh at peoples jokes even though your head is in a different state. you start wearing hoodies in 30℃ weather and pulling down your sleeves without even realizing it, and knowing how to immediately answer a question when someone is worried about you.
you can stand in a room full of people that love you but still feel like a burden.
and then, you eventually start believing the voice in your head and the act.
