Still a teenager, considered a fully-fledged adult growing into her inherited position, but a child to Eden. She’s remained her cheerful self to him throughout the years, but he can see how the responsibilities of being a Consul have matured her, hardened her into something not quite evil, not quite bad, but different.
He can’t say he doesn’t like her that way, as well.

An Avenging intern’s life is not an easy life, Darcy has learned. She wishes things had worked out with Ian, a little--at least he’d understand that no, “I have to measure Thor’s rainbow bridge” wasn’t an excuse. Or a euphemism. But no, he had to stay in London and be inaccessible, which just figures and is also kind of ironic considering half their research is focused on what is effectively rainbow-powered teleportation.
Seriously, though, who else is she supposed to date, Captain America?
