"So what you mean to tell me,” Dorian said incredulously, “Is that no one has ever lovingly laid you down and taken care of your ample, muscular behind? Never?”
They were sitting in a no-name tavern in the ass end of nowhere important, taking a nights rest. The Inquisitor had wandered off hours ago, leaving the two of them alone. And, as they often did when Dorian and Bull were left alone, the conversation had taken a particular turn.
"Surely someone has plowed that field at some point," Dorian insisted. He was, perhaps, a few too many glasses of wine into the evening to be having this discussion.
“There was an elvish woman a few years ago,” Bull said sheepishly. “Great tits, admirable core strength. But she couldn’t, uh, manhandle me quite the way I asked her to."
Dorian frowned, running one finger around the rim of his glass. He eyed Bull hungrily, his cheeks warming in a way he couldn't entirely blame on the wine.
He eyed Bull over the rim of his glass as he took another long, heady pull of wine. He toasted Bull with it, then leaned in. “Well, that certainly needs to change.”
