Summary
Unlike most other jobs, Franky’s didn’t come with a contract when he first signed up. Then again, Franky’s job isn’t like other jobs. It didn’t come with a comprehensive list of responsibilities, health insurance, a set wage, or a boss to report to. At the end of the day, no matter how many people he keeps in contact with, Franky has to deal with his own issues on his lonesome.
Twilight more than proved that to him.

Summary
"Sooner or later, everybody will have a role to play, and I don't doubt that we're already starting to feel them," Franky takes a swig from his glass, "And this is mine. Security's gonna crank way up any time now, this is the best time to take my chance."
Twilight lowers his gaze.
"I don't know where you stand in this war, between your job and whatever your personal connections and feelings lie, but I'd like if it was somewhere close to me," Franky swallows and smiles nervously, "I don't even know you, really, unless you're just that honest, but I get the feeling I can trust you."
Twilight aches to tell him to ignore the feeling, because that seems like the right thing to do.
"Sorry, that sounds a little too friendly, doesn't it?" His laugh is oddly warm and makes Twilight want to curl up and die - this isn't fair.
"It's fine."

Twilight and Franky were raised on opposite sides of this galaxy's biggest war in the last five millennia. They now have to find their footing somewhere in-between.
