Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak have known each other for five years. Around the year their relationship ranges from a fairly close friendship to the inability to be in the same room without wanting to murder each other.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, it is currently October, the time of the Great Prank War, which all but guarantees trouble.
When Charlie recommends the group visit the local 'haunted manor' on Halloween neither boy is thrilled by the idea.

Before Pansy had any time to react, the Gryffindor had knelt in front of her, put one hand next to her on the floor, the other at her jaw and kissed her.
She put one hand on the floor behind her to support their weight and left the other to rest behind Granger’s neck. She felt her soft lips touch hers and would have given anything to pull away in disgust, but she couldn’t. Instead she closed her eyes and lost herself.
The other girl sucked lightly at her lower lip and she opened her mouth, allowing her to use her tongue to explore her mouth, which, bizarrely, Pansy didn’t find appalling and then her hand moved upwards, as of its own accord, through the Gryffindor's bushy hair, to pull her closer.
“Time’s up,” said Finnigan and the two girls broke apart,
“Was it that bad?” he laughed.

Aziraphale doesn’t know why they keep returning to St. James's Park, other than that it is a well-trodden location for them both. And, he thinks sometimes, a welcome bridge between the past and the present.
The park is a place where friends meet. Where colleagues meet. Where spies meet. Where lovers meet. Whatever the current official status of their relationship, the park is a place they can come, a place they can know, a place they can be. Perhaps that is the reason they keep coming back. It’s comforting, that constancy.
Or at least, it would be comforting, if they could stop being on edge long enough to properly absorb it.
It’s funny, how the same place can hold both comfort and fear.
