Summary
A human finds themselves suddenly transported into a world they find oddly familiar that is stuck in the midst of turmoil with a new body and odd powers.
Yet their memories of the past remain intact. Memories of a world they aren't sure they want to go back to when all is said and done.( Hi hello, writer here. This is that writing project I was talking about in then notes of Epilogue.)

It's finally over. Niko is safe at home. The World Machine has been saved and tamed. There isn't even a need for a tearful, bittersweet goodbye. What more is left to tell?
(Yeah, I'm sorry. This will not be getting a continuation. I have no idea how to continue things and I've moved on to another writing project. Once again, I'm sorry for leading you all on for nigh on six years.)

So everything had come to pass. Niko was home, and the diligent player even had a way to see Niko again without pulling him from his world. But the strain on spacetime from so many other portals being open causes everything to shatter and reset. We continue where we left off, on a warm morning.
