I’m dying… My light is fading and all I am now is a crumbling rock. I had a few scrapes, but those are long crystallized by now.
The red and black of Eden is all I see. It’s evil red eye… I’m scared. I’m so so scared, but I know I shouldn’t be. I know I’ll be reborn—maybe—I haven’t reached the end so I don’t know if I even will be reborn or if I’ll just be stuck here until another poor soul comes across my frozen body. Either way, I’m scared to die. I don’t want to die.
“Child…” A soft but strong voice speaks.
”Huh..?”

I’m not good at summary’s soooo here: Rudo has a sister that’s a year younger than her, they fall into the pit earlier, they are both werewolf adjacent creatures that I made myself, myths of their species before their species had to go into hiding among the humans, some fae rules, and yada yada :)
