Summary
Following the death of Juregen Litener, Jon wanders the streets of London in a fearful haze of shock and paranoia. That is, until he stumbles upon the familiar face of his assistant. Martin. Who, after being convinced that Jon did not in fact murder Litener, invites him back to his flat for some proper explaining, tea, and the breakdown Jon has been procrastinating ever since he learned of Sasha's death.

Summary
A quiet rustle behind him was all the notice he got before something very heavy and hot thudded onto his back.
Gale froze even as his mind caught up (muscles, a brush of keratin on his neck, the smallest whiff of sulfur) to the fact that their resident tiefling (did Wyll count? An issue for another time) had just draped herself across him.
There were a few moments of still silence before Karlach stiffened as well and began pulling back.
“Sorry, soldier. You just— well. You seemed a bit sad, and I’m kind of new to this whole touching people thing, or not new per se, I had a life of course,” a nervous laugh, “but well, relearning, I suppose.”
or, Gale has a bad day and gets a hug about it.

Summary
He’s a ghost, a myth, with only the bodies left behind to confirm he’d been real at all. He’s essentially Korea’s own Jack-the-Ripper; unproven and uncaught.
Seong Gi-hun is the only one who's ever seen him and survived.

Summary
Inspired by the story Astarion tells the player, about Cazador locking him in a tomb for a year after failing to kill a man, and that famous quote from The Last Unicorn:
"No, it can't be. Can it be? Where have you been? Where have you been? Damn you! Where have you been? And where were you twenty years ago? Ten years ago? Where were you when I was new? When I was one of those innocent young maidens you always come to? How dare you! How dare you come to me now, when I am this!"
What if Tav was that young man he failed to kill? What if they got there in time? What if they came to Astarion then?

Summary
“Your vengeance had to be all the way across the ocean,” he complains. “Stupid.”
He’s squeezing his eyes shut, probably fighting back the same churning of his stomach she is. It’s almost endearing, if Taigen was a man capable of being anything other than annoying.
“I didn’t ask you to come.”
“We had a deal.”
“I take it back. You’re not honorable. You’re an idiot—”
He scoffs. “I’m not the one on some boat to London to kill some—” Her eyes flare at him, and he catches the silent accusation: aren’t you? “You know what I mean! I’m only here because you are. You are the idiot that got us both on a boat."
