Rumi just wanted to survive her job and maybe reduce a little stress, not get emotionally wrecked by a yoga class.
But thanks to her unhinged best friend Zoey (who may or may not be trying to play matchmaker), she ends up in a studio led by Mira, a stunning, graceful, slightly mysterious yoga goddess who smells like lavender and has thighs that could end empires.
Rumi tries to play it cool. She fails. Spectacularly.
What starts with awkward stretching and Rumi trying very hard not to stare, turns into deep conversations, accidental body contact, gay panic, dancing, full emotional breakdowns and very flexible sex. Yes, there’s crying. Yes, there’s touching. No, not in that order.
But with honesty, a little sweat and a lot of Zoey screaming, Rumi finally learns what it means to let someone in and to stop running from what (and who) makes her heart feel safe.
Also, yoga? Kinda life-changing. 10/10 would bend again. -

Summary
A plate shattered against the floor from the kitchen. An incredible range of emotions managed to make their way across four faces in the course of two seconds. Rumi's laughing stuttered to a halt when she noticed the pale look on Mira's face, her eyes blown wide with what could only be described as pure undiluted panic.
Playing over the last few seconds in her head Rumi's face went through the most change. Laughter, then confusion, followed by concentration, then realization. Horror dawned on her face as her eyes bugged out of her head realizing what she'd just said, who she'd said it in front of.
As her head whipped around to locate the sound Rumi saw Zoey. The most diabolically chaotice grin spreading slowly across her face. Thrill, pure joy, she was in the best position in the entire apartment area. Uninvolved, unembarassed, able to enjoy whatever glorious chaos was about to unfold.

When Zoey said she was ‘sending help over’, Mira thought she meant packets of her favorite instant ramyeon, the kind that’s too spicy for literally anyone else but her to like, and maybe some electrolyte sticks and some packs of instant porridge for when her stomach is too unsettled for anything else, along with a cooling patch or two and some Ibuprofen to help with the aches. She expected the usual kind of care package Zoey would send her when she knows she’s too stubborn to ask for help or to be looked after but desperately needs it anyway.
Mira didn’t think Zoey meant she was sending her girlfriend over to fuck her until she finally stops dripping like a broken faucet with all of her unsatisfied need.

Before Rumi can even realise what is happening, Mira presses a palm against her chest and with a push, forces her down onto a couch. Rumi obeys, collapsing onto the cushion, blinking, rapidly, still dazed.
Mira lingers, standing over her, letting that smirk return.
"Since you seem so interested…" Mira murmurs, turning her back to Rumi as she crosses the room. "…I'll give you a proper performance." She bends to scroll through her playlist and queues another song. The soft, pulsing rhythm begin to fill the practice room.
The first notes set Mira's hips in motion.
