Summary
After everything Nico has been through, he finds himself back at Camp Half-Blood with no real reason to leave—and, for once, no place he particularly wants to go.
Instead of disappearing into the Underworld or wandering from place to place, Nico decides to stay at camp for a while. Will is quietly thrilled by the decision, but he knows better than to make a huge deal out of it.
As the summer continues, Will tries to convince Nico to actually live at camp rather than hiding in quiet corners. What starts as small things—sitting by the lake, attending campfires, helping around the cabins, joking with other campers, and wandering through the woods—slowly becomes something more meaningful.
For Nico, staying isn't just about remaining at Camp Half-Blood. It's about learning that he doesn't always have to leave before he can belong somewhere.
And with Will beside him, Nico begins discovering that home doesn't necessarily have to be a place. Sometimes, it can be a person—or the people who choose to stay.
