Summary
"Ah-!" The force of his strike nearly sent him tumbling off his lap. The hit seared like a brand across his bare skin, the aftershocks tingling across his skin in the cold air. Tingles spread out across his whole body, a shudder racking his smaller frame as he jerked forward. He inhaled sharply through his nose, desperate to get enough air into his lungs. That hurt more much than I expected it to! Nice flexed his fingers in the air, his eyes trailing over them for a moment before he glanced down at Lin Ling, his eyes as cold and sharp as icicles.
"Count." He ordered, his lips pursed into a tight, thin line. Lin Ling swallowed thickly, his cheeks burning hot with humiliation as he stared down at the ground. Tears prickled hotly in the corners of his eyes. Is this even allowed? He sucked a thin, reedy breath in through his teeth, steeling himself so that he didn't tremble.
"O-One." He managed out, but he couldn't stop his voice from breaking on a quiet whimper.

He smiled slowly, revealing long, sharp canines that were just as perfectly white as the rest of his teeth. He tapped his sharp fingernails against the metal railing, the sound echoing through the foyer. "My, my." He murmured, his voice soft and playful, almost pleased- as if he'd just been reunited with a long lost friend, and was quite delighted about it. But his eyes were predatory, tracking every move Lin Ling made. "What is a little wolf like you doing at my humble abode?"
