Summary
Morax, The God of Contracts who rules over Liyue, just wants to be Zhongli, a Funeral Parlour Consultant. Unless there is true threat to his land and people, he isn’t interested in getting involved in trivial matters with the other Archons.
The quiet and mundane life he has created for himself is interrupted when a young man named Ajax knocks on his door. The deep rumbling inside his body stirs again, this time, not from displeasure. A tall, young man with auburn hair stands with a bright smile on his face. Zhongli’s eyes quickly gaze over him. Without truly realising it, he hasn’t in fact said anything in response.
A slap to his arm from Hu Tao shakes him out of his mind.
“Oh.” He then coughs into fist lightly. “My apologies, did you say you were here for me?” Zhongli asks politely.
The man smiles, “If you are Mister Zhongli, then yes, I am.”

Summary
Days after Liyue’s battle with Osial, Zhongli walks through his city to witness his people get their lives back in order, all with Childe on his mind and the way he’d betrayed him. He’s convinced the Harbinger has already left his city with a broken spirit. So, when Zhongli finds Childe in the brothel, there’s only one way to get him to forgive him.
“You’re drunk.” -is the first thing that comes out of his mouth.
“Ever a way with words.” Childe sneers, “Bastard. I’m not drunk. Get out.” When Childe sways again, Zhongli takes a step toward him. “Don’t-“ Childe puts a hand up to stop him getting closer, “Seven Archons, don’t.” Then a realization hits him again like a wave even Zhongli can see, “Huh. I can’t believe you. Can’t you leave me alone?”
No.
In fact, Zhongli doesn’t think he can in the slightest. Not now that he’s found the man still in his city. Here. In front of him. And, in a place like this?

Summary
Childe is finally about to be assigned to serve one of The Seven Gods. To be a messenger, to protect and to serve on the mountain they reside. The only issue? Childe is the only servant who never received their Vision. These tasks will be quite difficult to do without the power of a Vision. Almost impossible.

If one was to give up their position as a servant to their God, the rest of their life is one of misery. No one gets to be re-assigned and no family accepts back, a runaway. So, you can only imagine what happened to those servants who were unlucky enough to have been assigned to such a God.’ -

When the king had assigned a whole party of guards to watch over him because ‘he wouldn’t yet be able to defend himself’, the prince had sneered and pointed right at Zhongli, “If you insist I have someone tailing me where ever I go, then I’ll have him.”The King had been stunned into silence before laughing, “I think not, son. The Captain of the Royal Guard? Ha!”
The whole crowd of people had only then laughed with their King before Zhongli had faced his prince and said, “I accept, your highness.” -
