Summary
Ororon's skin prickled where the heat of his boyfriend's hand pressed against him. Arousal simmered low in his gut. He felt good. Warm, fuzzy, happy, relaxed. This was the best vacation he'd ever taken. One of the only trips he'd been able to go on that didn't have something to do with an errand.
Lips pressed against his temple, lingering there for a few seconds.
"You sure you're feeling okay?" Ifa asked, voice low so only he could hear.
"So good," Ororon told him. "I'm happy."
Ororon and Ifa visit the Sunspray Summer Resort and enjoy their time away from their tribes.

“Here, Captain”, Ororon hands him another slice directly, hovering in front of where his mouth hides in the shadow of his mask, and Capitano, as if hypnotized, leans forwards to eat out of his hand. Literally and figuratively.
“I think it’s working”, Ororon leans closer to him to murmur, and Capitano grunts.

If one were to ask Thrain at any other time, if he would ever roll into bed with the enemy — let alone, an assassin who snuck into his quarters as a servant and planned to kill him — the Captain of the Tsaritsa's Knights would have sent for a doctor to get their brains checked.
As it turns out though, it does not take much for Thrain to not only willingly sleep with the enemy, but to drag the enemy into bed himself.
All it takes, is a beautiful boy with the prettiest eyes and a scent that Thrain cannot resist.

Summary
Ifa may know his way around a gun, but he's still a doctor before a warrior. So when he crosses a particularly nasty group of Saurian traffickers, it's not long before he's overpowered and left for dead. When Ororon comes to save him, Ifa learns exactly what the man he loves is capable of doing.
As he recovers, he has to decide if he can reconcile what he's seen him do with the gentleness he's come to associate with him. Because despite the physical damage they gave him, his assailants aren't the ones who left wounds on his mind.

Ifa sighed, reaching up one hand to scritch Cacucu’s head quickly. “Hey buddy. Do you think this will do?” He flipped through his book until he landed on the page he was looking for. Bat courtship.
“Do you even hear yourself bro?”
“I know, I know… but if this hopeless man can’t understand the most straightforward flirting, then maybe I just have to speak his language, y’know?” Ifa buried himself in the book, taking mental note of all the various things different species of bats did to attract mates. Turns out it was a little more… complex than just finding a shiny rock or something.
