Damian and Jason don't get paired to work together that often, but when they do work together it's always at least semi-hostile, in one way or another. However, that doesn't mean that when there's an accident on one of the missions, Jason's just going to let the brat die. Whatever else they are, they're still family.

I love reading about Tim after he's no longer Robin and has kinda lost all his hope.
He's so much less of a people pleaser than the interpretations of him as Robin usually are, and is therefore so much more his own person - a person who's jaded and alone, but also a person whose potential is very clear.
This is one of those fics where someone goes out of their way to gain his trust and give him a little happiness. I love it!
