Summary
Four years ago, Shane Hollander suffered a career-ending injury after getting hit by Marlow on the ice. Despite Ilya’s best efforts to reach out, he never hears from Shane again. Nor does anyone as Shane Hollander disappears from the public eye. Complete radio silence.
That is, until Ilya receives a call from his agent, asking if he is willing to ‘say a couple of nice words on camera about Shane Hollander’. Why? Oh. Because he will be induced in the NHL Hall of Fame in three weeks. And said Canadian golden boy will likely be there.
Ilya is totally okay about this, of course.
