“You did?!” Midoriya exclaimed in shock. “Then- he knows that you know now?”
“Yes.”
A conflicting expression passed over Midoriya’s face. “…He isn’t mad at me… is he?” He asked in a small voice.“No, he isn’t mad at you kid.”
Midoriya seemed to slump in relief. “That’s- That’s good… Where is he?”
That was not something Aizawa currently knew. He’d kicked the man out of the teachers’ lounge about an half an hour prior along with Hizashi and Nemuri. He hadn’t wanted them to accidentally wake the Problem Child, so he pulled out the intimidation tactics Nedzu had taught him to scare them off.

“Aizawa!” Toshinori Yagi let out a bloody cough in surprise as the capture weapon tightened around him.
“I think it’s time we have a chat.” Aizawa leveled his glare at the blond.
“Midoriya had a breakdown in the cafeteria today.” Aizawa stated bluntly. He wasn’t a fan of beating around the bush. He liked to get straight to the point.
Yagi knew what this was about. Or at least, he thought he did. Midoriya had been understandably distressed when he had told him what Sir. Nighteye had seen in his vision. Yet the expected tears hadn’t flowed. Instead, he was met with determination and a promise to defy fate.
Yet… If this was, in fact, what he’d broken down over, than young Midoriya must’ve put on a brave face, pretending everything would be alright.
So, the next words from Aizawa were a shock. “Apparently, Sir. Nighteye has deemed him unworthy of your quirk and wants him to give it to Mirio Togata.”

Summary
When Todoroki and Iida had interrupted his midday lunch nap in the teachers' lounge with concerns about his Problem Child, Aizawa expected a multitude of possible causes, mostly consisting of broken bones.
Said child had a penchant for bone breaking so the thought wasn’t too out of the ordinary.
So, Aizawa had set off, under the assumption that he’d be dragging Midoriya off to recovery girl’s office and giving him another lecture about not breaking his bones.
Instead, here he was with an arm around Midoriya’s shoulder walking the kid to Nezu’s office.
~~~~"I was indeed aware of Midoriya’s role as Yagi’s successor.”
“You didn’t think this was information I needed to know?” Aizawa hissed.
“No, I did believe it was best to tell you.” Nezu responded, hopping off the couch and clasping his hands behind his back. “However, it was Yagi’s wish to keep Midoriya’s position as his successor a secret to protect the boy. In hindsight, I should have pressed harder to get him to agree to bring you into the loop.”
“That would’ve been the logical thing to do. How am I supposed to teach students and give them their best chances out there, if I don’t have all of the information?!”
