Eddie swallowed hard. “You’re okay. Let it out. I've got you”
Buck shuddered against him. Then he spoke, barely above a whisper “I don’t feel okay.”
Eddie closed his eyes for a moment, letting the words sink in, letting the weight of them settle in his chest. He tightened his hold, lowering his voice to something barely above a breath.
“Then I’ll help you to feel okay.”

Summary
Buck was fine. He didn't need help. At least it's what he has been saying to himself. It's been a very tough week at work, there's been more of those calls than usual. He knew that they were a normal part of his job, it still didn't make it any easier. Sure, he started to have normal interactions with his team once again after incredibly long excruciating time. Even so, it still didn't feel the same which just added to the fact that he got incredibly overwhelmed with all the events happening around him. But he didn't need any help. Right? Right?
