    It starts, as it so often does, with an angry demon and a wife plot that really should have just stayed in the drafts. Shen Qingqiu gets hit with a special sort of curse.


    Shen Qingqiu will not have to spend that much time hunting for the cure, because he already knows what it is. It had been behind a paywall that he had sadly opened his wallet for. It had been maybe only sort of worth the money.

    Well, maybe it was better that Shen Qingqiu got hit with the spell. He has faint memories of the chapter; while a sly and sensual demoness would have been able to handle two Binghes easily, Shen Qingqiu’s experience would be more akin to being a slab of meat thrown to hungry dogs.

    His doppelganger seems to be having the same thought, and they stare at each other with a forlorn look.

    “Shizun, are you okay?” Luo Binghe reaches for him and the moment his fingertips brush over Shen Qingqiu’s shoulder, an electric feeling jolts through Shen Qingqiu so hard that he almost doubles over.

    It’s quite clear what’s happened to Shen Qingqiu. The heat, the pain, the sudden need to climb Luo Binghe like a particularly appealing tree. The faint pink still staining his robes, even after his robes have gotten drenched through all the movement in the water...

    ...No, he's very much not okay!
