Things had been good since Ghost and Soap worked out their disagreements. After that “training session” in the gym, communication was becoming far easier for both of them; Johnny was asking for things when he needed them, and Simon was starting to come out of his shell. There were still plenty of unspoken words between them, but that’s to be expected when one of you wears a mask every waking moment. They were fine with their arrangement, even if it didn’t have an official name.

“Look at you…” Price rasps, running a reverent hand over the bindings, feeling the way Ghost shudders beneath them. His fingers trace the knots, testing their strength, watching the way Ghost’s breath hitches with every slow drag of his touch.
Ghost blinks up at him, open-mouthed and dazed, tears beading at the corners of his eyes. His body aches, but it’s a delicious kind of ache—the kind that makes him feel kept, wanted.
Price smirks, dragging his thumb over the tear-streaked flush of Ghost’s cheek, tracing the heat there. His eyes are dark with possession, admiration, something almost tender beneath the hunger.
"Ready for me, sweet thing?"

Soap paused, picking up the pen. He looked over his list. Three columns, “yes”, “no”, and “maybe”. He pulled the paper close. Hesitating, he underlined a single item, then crossed out the rest of them one by one. When he finished, he looked back at Ghost, as if daring him to say something about it. When Ghost didn’t, Soap pushed the paper over, crossing his arms over his chest.
Underlined was “kneeling” under “yes”, the only thing left on the page. It didn’t matter what the other “yes” items had been, they were very clearly in the “no” column now.
Ghost forced himself not to feel frustrated, had to admit to himself that Soap might be the most challenging sub he had ever had assigned into one of his units.
