Summary
The trajectory of Todoroki Shouto’s life was changed by just two phone calls.

Summary
There is an old folklore that says whenever a child is born, God flips a coin to decide what kind of fate awaits them.
Heads or tails, blessed lifetime or a cursed one.
Of course, no one can prove this, just as they cannot deny it. Maybe it was a sick game the god was playing with thousands of innocent souls. But more likely it was used as a metaphor to give a reason to this cruel but by chance, lottery of blood, genes and quirks.
How unfortunate for shouto who was born into the Todoroki household, had seemed to win the genetic lottery yet was cursed with a fate full of misery and despair.
He was granted with the perfect match: fire and ice. After all, it is said that two opposing forces attract each other. But in his veins, that chemistry was a violent collision and this cruel attraction was going to lead him to become a weapon for HPSC.

Summary
As Shigeo’s eyes continued to look about his room, a faint sound began to fill his ears. He could only describe it as a slight buzzing noise that could be heard on old VHS tapes. He proceeded to scan the walls and as his eyes wandered the sound grew louder, almost vibrating in his skull. Then, he saw it. In the corner of his room was the outline of a figure. It was dark and hard to see, but he could definitely make out the shadowy figure of a person. By this point, the only sound that flooded his ears was the staticky buzz and his own breathing. The figure was silent. It was as still as a statue, but it was watching him.
When Shigeo starts having nightmares that he can’t quite piece together, he starts refusing to sleep. However, exhaustion catches up quickly and when the people who care about him find out he isn’t sleeping, they start doing what they can to get the kid some much needed rest.
